sponsor-doeChuuk State Department of Education:  Chuuk State DOE has been a partner in the funding, planning, and implementation of the Northwest Educators Summer Training (NEST) at Xavier High School.

sponsor-fsmhsaThe FSM Dpartment of Health and Social Affairs (FSMHSA) is a department in the FSM National Government which provided the funding to support the dental health clinics for Fanapi islanders in Chuuk in Summer 2012. It also provided the seed funding to enable Vid Raatior to lead a leadership development workshop with the leaders of Northwest which led to the creation of the Fanapi Foundation. – visit website

The Micronesia Dental Support Project (MDSP) was founded to bring dental equipment to Chuuk State and coordinate volunteer dentists from abroad to operate free community dental clinics in the fanapi islands of Chuuk. The MDSP provided the seed funds to start the  the Fanapi Foundation. MDSP has become a part of the Fanapi Foundation’s health care services. Visit: www.care.fanapi.org

matson-logoMatson Foundation: Since its founding in 1882, Matson Navigation Company has supported the needs of the communities in which they do business, in the Hawaiian Islands and on the U.S. Mainland and, in the last few decades, across the Pacific to Guam, the FSM and the Marshall Islands. Supporting education is a keystone of their charitable giving program, administered through the Matson Foundation. The Matson Foundation provided partial funding for the Fanapi Foundation’s teacher training program to improve their skills to enhance the education of FSM youth. Visit: www.matson.com/foundation/
